Cypress Mulch (80111-C1-NonDis)
The Louisiana Annual Conference petitions the 2008 General Conference to pledge not to buy, sell, or use cypress mulch and its derivatives. This pledge would be on behalf of the annual conferences, churches, and institutions of The United Methodist Church. We also encourage the state and federal governments, and large retailers, like Wal-Mart, the Home Depot, and Lowe’s, to take significant action to conserve cypress forests.
