Removal of Credentials (81093-JA-¶2702)
Add new subparagraph after ¶2702(5)as follows:
Any bishop, clergy member of an annual conference, local pastor (active or retired), clergy on honorable or administrative location, or diaconal minister will be mandated to turn in his/her credentials under any of the following circumstances:
1) if found guilty in a court of law for any sexual abuse or sexual misconduct charge,
2) if entered an Alford Plea in a court of law for any sexual abuse or sexual misconduct charge, or
3) if placed on a state’s sex offender registry list.
